If you are just joining my newsletter group...Welcome.

This issue will cover a few things: credit information, Electronic rent payments, and helpful Fall Home Tips.

It’s been awhile, but here is a short review of the information that we have covered in the past regarding credit scores.

The 5 most important factors that are considered in the credit score formulas are:

1.     Your payment history

2.     The amount of money that you owe

3.     The length of time you have had credit

4.     The type of credit that you have

5.     How many credit Inquires

Things that can be taken off your credit bureau report include: unpaid collections, charge-offs, repossessions, bankruptcies, medical bills, foreclosures, tax liens, civil liens, student loans, inquires, old addresses, all names but one, judgments, and divorce debt. This is difficult to do on your own but with a professional that has time and experience it can be done.

Things that can not be taken off credit reports: legitimate debt, alimony and child support.

Then, while your credit report is being cleaned up by the credit restoration folks or by yourself; you will also be building good credit by improving your payment history. This means making your payments on time. Such as rent, utility bills, car payments, visa or other credit card payments.

You can have your timely rent payments recorded to the credit bureau by using our electronic bill pay system. We are sending out “ClearNow” forms if anyone is interested in doing these easy direct payments. If you already are doing allotments or wires, you can continue to do so. This is for those of you that want an easier way to pay and help improve your payment history. Please fill out the form and send it back with a voided check. You can also fax them back to me at 719-548-4756.

I hope your fall is going well and you are enjoying your home. Keep warm as the cool winds blow through.

Remember to get a hold of Trish if you a bit more help with credit restoration. Her phone number is 650-6676.

If you need the phone number to your financial specialist/mortgage person just email or call us for their contact information.

Dedicated to improving your credit and making you a home owner,

Lori
